$5000 Innovation Challenge Winnipeg: Sponsored by LSAM and BCC ( I am a finalist )

I got the email yesterday that I have been selected as one of five finalists in the Innovation Challenge put on by Life Sciences Association of Manitoba and Biomedical Commercialization Canada On January 11th in Winnipeg.

There are five finalists that will each have seven minutes to present their idea to a panel and whichever idea the judges think is the most likely to be a success will be awarded five thousand dollars. The crowd will also be voting on the “people’s choice” award. The person the crowd thinks has the best idea gets $1000 meaning 6 G is up for grabs.
Although I would be pumped on six grand check I am most excited about a chance to meet some angel investors, bounce ideas off a panel of progressive investors and get some good feedback about my idea called Thunk.
It’s a software program that allows people to connect while they are in close proximity like at a hockey game.

I am currently in development of this project and hope to have a beta done before Christmas.

Thanks to everyone that is giving me this great opportunity.
